The CFAM Prime is the first 3D printer using CFAM technology. The patented printing head which combines the continuous fibre with the melted thermoplastics is distinctive from other continuous fibre 3D printing technologies. Virtually all the different thermoplastic materials can be used, in turn these can be combined with both short and continuous glass and/or carbon fibres.

The AM Flexbot is ideal for custom solutions to fit a specific application. Siemens Sinumerik is used to direclty control the Comau robot arm, meaning no robot controller is needed. This enables very accurate operation of the robot, especially in terms of position accuracy while travelling along a path.
Siemens Sinumerik can control 31 axes. Therefore your AM Flexbot can be easily extended with additional functions such as a rotary table, additional robots or other production processes such as ATP or AFP.
Combing subtractive and additive processes
The AM Flexbot offers the unique option to combine 3D printing and milling into one automated process. For mould making and tooling applications ideal to achieve the required surface finish and tolerances.
But combining other elements is possible too, such as; Adding an heated working table, adding a rotary table, increasing build volume by adding a track, adding the dynamic flow control for more accurate printing and adding the CFAM module for continuous fibre capabilities.
The extruder can be operated as a stand alone unit. The whole system is operated through a Siemens touch screen, which runs our specifically designed software. This software is the result of years of experience in plastics extrusion, 3D printing, and machinery development.
Lightweight and easy integration
The extruder is engineered to be lightweight for the sole purpose of mounting it directly on a robotic arm. With several types of robotic arms available on the market today, we are able to install the extruder on most types. Easy integration and implementation is possible on your robot or CNC machine. Enabling to control the extruder with your robot.
High production output and low costs
The extruder is able to use a wide variety of thermoplastic materials. By using pellet material instead of filaments for 3D printing, operational and part cost are reduced. Another great benefit of using pellets for 3D printing is the higher output than filament based machines.
Stable building platform for large scale industrial 3D printing
The print bed provides a rigid, stable and easy to use building platform for large scale 3D printing. The working area of the print bed exists out of multiple aluminium bed profiles, specially designed for additive manufacturing, which guarantees a good mechanical bonding between the printed object and the bed. The print bed can be used for any thermoplastic printing material.

A tubular steel frame in combination with an independed heigth adjustable top layer ensures a rigid building platform for prints up to 2m x 1,2m.
Easy in use
Despite the good mechanical bonding, it is easy to release the print from the print bed. Fastening the handwheels on the side of the print bed will help the printed object to come loose. The print bed is designed such that it can be moved easily by either forklifts and pallet jacks. Furthermore the print bed is suited with floor positioners making it possible to always place the print bed on the exact same spot, if the print bed has to be moved frequently.
